2012 – The Beginning Of A New Phase In Equine Podiatry

Merry Christmas and thank you to all that participated in the fall Podiatry Clinics. I will be attending The Summit Hoof Care Convention in Cincinnati at the end of January, and will be looking foward to the oppertunity bring back new information. I am excited to see the new emphasis on Equine Podiatry in the industry.
To date, we have emphasized The Team Approach to de-rotation and stabalization of the foundered horse. My 2012 clinics will introduce a new phase of podiatry, The crushed heel and the high low syndrome. Together with Georgetown Feed and Supply, A March clinic will review founder treatment and introduce the butress wedge shoe used for the maintenance of the crushed heel. Date, time, and location will be posted soon.
